On a plant floor, at a port or in a public authority, an answer can change someone’s work or someone’s life. The person responsible needs the source, the assumptions and the authority to stop.

Governance
Make authority explicit. Define what the system may propose, what requires approval and what it must never execute. Preserve enough evidence to examine the outcome.
Ground
Connect the model to the actual operating environment. Measure where possible, simulate with stated assumptions and verify the boundary in which the system runs.
